Dear Beading Friend,
By now you may have heard that I will be closing our current retail store by the end of this year. I'm anticipating re-opening Bead Haven in the summer of 2012 within the NewBo City Market with your favorite beads and beading supplies, as well as new products I hope you will love! The exact date of the re-opening will depend on when the NewBo City Market is completed. NewBo City Market will include both indoor and outdoor vendor areas and will have temporary and permanent spaces as well. My wish is for Bead Haven to have a permanent indoor space.

Closing the current retail location at the end of 2011 will serve several purposes. First, it will give me time to enhance the Bead Haven website (http://www.beadhavenbeads.com) and add many more products (including new kits!) to the web store. Secondly, I'd like to spend more time with my family. For nine years other areas in my life have taken a 'back-burner' to the store, so it's overdue that I pamper my husband, take a trip with my mom, clean out the refrigerator, and a host of other things.

Take advantage of 30% off Swarovski crystals, Miyuki seed beads, Czech glass, glass pearls, fresh water pearls, stones, plated metals, artistic wire, flexible beading wire and a great selection of books and magazines and much more! Sterling silver and gold-filled will be discounted 15%. Unfortunately fine silver (including PMC), tools, and much of the American lamp-work cannot be discounted. As the store draws nearer to ending its days on Southgate Place, the discounts will increase of course.

Do you have a Bead Haven stamp card? Don’t throw it away! Cards won't be stamped during the sale, but you have earned the rewards they represent so the value of the cards will be prorated in conjunction with the discounts offered. I.e. at 30% discount, a full card will be worth $14 of store credit, half-full cards will be valued at $7 of store credit, etc.

What about classes and trunk shows? That's a good question! I'm hoping when the NewBo City Market opens that there will be a 'space' close to our area we can reserve for classes and events to continue that wonderful tradition with our fantastic instructors and artists! Until then I'm going to search for a facility that will work for all of our needs.
